When fighting the "stomach flu" (which is not always influenza), the most important thing is to stay hydrated. Take small sips of water and/or dilute gatorade, or pedialyte. If you vomit it up, wait 30 min or so and try again, slowly. If you can't keep anything down, er.

Might back fire: Reglan (metoclopramide) is a prokinetic, meaning it makes the gut move faster. It can make it move faster one way or the other. So if you are having vomiting or diarrhea, it could make it worse. Reglan (metoclopramide) is used in folks whose GI tracts do not move well, ie delayed gastric emptying. Not really: Used according to prescription it wouldn't kill you, but it causes stomach irritation & constipation.As for fever or muscle aches you may have, NSAIDs like ibuprofen or naproxen (Advil or Aleve) are far more effective, but these, too, can cause stomach irritation.
