Stomach flu: is very common viral infection. Usually the condition resolves on its own with home care. Drink water and get a good rest. NSAIDs (e.g. Aleve, Advil) or Tylenol (acetaminophen) are also recommended every 6 hours. If concerned, see your PCP for examination. ...Read more

Going it alone?: If you don't want a Dr and Rx, ask a pharmacist to recommend OTC items that address your specific symptoms. W/out a Dr's Dx, it might not be a flu but another type of GI upset. Stay hydrated: When fighting the "stomach flu" (which is not always influenza), the most important thing is to stay hydrated. Take small sips of water and/or dilute gatorade, or pedialyte. If you vomit it up, wait 30 min or so and try again, slowly. If you can't keep anything down, er. Anti-diarrhea meds aren't bad but you should consult your doctor, as it could mask other things.
