A couple ....: It may be that the hot water of the shower stimulates some histamine production and contributes to the itchiness. Also, you don't mention whether you are shampooing with each shower, but incomplete rinsing of soap could cause this. Wish I had more ideas .... Good luck! ...Read more

Why the ?: It just seems to me that drying your hair before going to bed would solve the problem. Perhaps the residual shampoo or conditioner in the hair when wet is causing the problem but the solution appears to be quite straight forward. ...Read more

No problem...: Just rinse it out with a little warm water, pat ear dry and if you have a hair dryer that has an air dry setting, you can gently on low setting blow dry. Otherwise, just let it air dry after rinsing it out. Breast milk has such good antibodies in it, that it is not likely to cause any problems even if you do nothing. Thanks for breast feeding!
