Is it normal to wake up with a headache with a cold? I also have sinus pressure and yellowish mucus also coughing up mucus.. no fever no sore throat

Is it normal to wake up with a bad headache every day and it gets better as the day goes on? I do drink coffee but usually one cup, is it the meds ?
Probably due to meds: Having a headache every day is most often a kind of migraine. Regularly taking any pain killer can keep it going forever, even tylenol, (acetaminophen) aspirin, or advil. Opiates are the worst. Stop all analgesics for two weeks, expecting headaches will get worse at first then improve. They may then just go away.
