You are not supposed: Lose weight when you are pregnant, you are supposed to control the weight so you do not gain too much 25-35 is avg weight gain, if you gain less than 25 and baby is growing normally that is fine, please discuss with your OB as you can be referred to a dietician if you are gaining too much, in general if you are gaining too much you need to cut down on the acrbs esp after 6 pm. ...Read more
