I would not because:: It's good to lose weight if overweight, but pregnancy is not a good time to do this. Our fat contains many environmental toxins like pcb's, dioxins, pbb's ; heavy metals. When you lose weight these toxins enter your bloodstream ; might have serious adverse effects on your developing baby- especially during the first trimester. You can try to not gain much during preg. Also, your body is supporting growth of a baby, which requires more energy than u commonly use, resulting in weight loss. Also, HCG (pregnancy hormone) can cause some weight loss.
