Pain with urination: No it is not normal to have pain with urination in this case. You were likely catheterized during the procedure and that can be very irritating and even increase risk for bladder infection. Cystitis: These are the symptoms of hemorrhagic cystitis. Ideally you should have a urine culture then started on an antibiotic and followed till symptoms resolve. There are no home remedies.
