Is It Normal To Have An Headache When I Wake Up Every Morning
No: Headaches on waking in the morning are more worrisome than headaches that have some sort of identifiable cause, like certain foods or activities. Especially concerning is a headache that wakes a person up from sleeping or one that improves from sitting up. This is something that you should have evaluated by a physician. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Migraine/muscle tens: frequent, short lived non progressive head pain is usually a migraine phenomenom, but such headaches can also occur due to neck problems or muscle spasms in the muscles of the scalp on the corresponding side. I run cool mist humidifier and air purifier at night but i wake up every morning with a headache. Do you have any ideas why? Thank you
As an allergist,: I cringe a little when I hear about humidifiers because they are ripe for biofilms (colonization by bacteria and fungi). If it helps you, please clean it thoroughly and regularly with bleach. Sensitivities to fungus can be a cause of chronic rhinitis and it may be your trigger. Other benign causes of morning headaches include snoring/sleep apnea, migraine, grinding teeth/TMJ pain, poor sleep etc ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I wake up every morning with a really bad headache. I constantly have a pain in my right temple, right ear and teeth on the right side. Also numbness ?
TMJ: Sounds like you could have a really bad case of teeth or tooth grinding if this is only on the right side. With the numbness my guess is some form of TMJ. See your local dentist or oral surgeon and what they say. Then, tell me! LOL. If you'd like to write me: www.healthtap.com/dr-saghafi ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Wake up every morning with a headache (centralized on my forehead). Its been ~1 month. Also noticed a knot on back of my neck. Often it lasts all day.
Possibly sinus: Waking with a headache centered on the forehead could indicate a sinus issue. When asleep, you are laying flat, and the sinuses do not drain as well as they do when you are upright. I imagine the knot on the back of the neck is unrelated. See your doctor for confirmation. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Headache for 5 days throbbing pain & dizzy, saw doctor gave me nurfon plus but i still wake up every morning with it, feel it on top of my head &1side?
Exam and history: Too vague a question without having a thorough history and an examination. Too many variables when attempting to determine the cause of a headache. The cause, severity and location of the headache are very important. Could be nighttime bruxism- grinding your teeth, which often causes morning headaches, could consider a tmj?Tmd specialist, after seeing your dr. Again. ...Read more
