Took doxy for folliculitis and it made me break out 10x worse, even after 2 months it was still worse that before I took it. this is not normal right?

Right. Doxycycline: is not the right drug for folliculitis. You need a drug that covers staph and strep,like cephalexin. See your Dr and get a different prescription. ...Read more

Is it normal to feel inguinal lns. They're about the size of a pea and smaller. Saw pcp, said was due to folliculitis. Nodes still present follic gone?

Adenopathy: Enlarged inguinal lymph nodes are very common since they are in a very "dirty" area of the body and they clean things up for a living. Although if the folliculitis was actually the reason for their presence, they may stay large for a lengthy time period, and sometimes may never go away. Shouldn't be: Folliculitis shouldn't cause pain during urination; i would be concerned about a UTI at this point. See your doctor. ...Read more
