Have a kink in left shoulder blade & makes upper left arm feel weird & tingly & also have gastric reflux. Heartbeat feels normal. Any suggestions?
Could be radiculitis: In many cases shoulder conditions irritate part of the brachial plexus and can cause a radiculitis (nerve irritation) or a radiculopathy (sensory or motor changes). Thus an MRI and EMG are in order from a Neurologist or PMR doctor. Thoracic outlet is also a possibility though an Internal Medicine doctor should rule out Cardiac and GERD issues as well before we start Physical therapy.keep me updated ...Read more
Chest, upper back and left arm pain. ECG report show nothing. Heart beat is faster than normal. It is heart related problem or some thing related to anxiety?
Possible: There is no perfect test, and it is possible to have heart pain with a normal ECG. Best to also check blood tests with this, and consider other tests such as a stress test if symptoms persistent. Anxiety however is still a possibility, especially with the stress you may be under dealing the the earthquake. Hope this helps! ...Read more

Physicians trained &: Paid to look only for evidence of advanced disease. Though known >8 decades (via autopsies in US) that 1/2 population has arterial disease by age 7, humans compensate, arteries enlarge (not narrow) in compensation, thus no symptoms/signs for decades, EKGs miss the problem. Pain in chest mostly left side. Pain can be dull or sharp. Rapid heartbeat. Pain in left arm, neck and shoulder. My dr gave me Buspar (buspirone) for anxierty.?
Not for Here: You're young and the likelihood of serious heart problems is low, especially if you've had a normal echocardiogram, but every person is different and I just admitted someone at 28 yrs old for a heart attack, so my advice to you is that only an in-person eval can help you get to the bottom of your issues; the web forum, especially with its character limit, is probably seriously inadequate to task. ...Read more

Heart attack?: In fact, the diagnostic tools in your cardiologists' offices are inaccurate. They produce too many false positive and some fakes negative results. Most importantly, they can only detect late stage diseases in an unsatisfactory manner, in my view. Therefore, I alone with my coworkers have created multifunction cardiogram! Http://en. M.Wikipedia. Last night when I was trying to sleep, suddenly my heartbeat raced, throat dried and left arm was numb. My right thumb twitches and numbs sometimes?
Happens to anyone: A rapid heart rate can happen to anyone when going to sleep or waking up. Occurs because the beat from the top chamber does not go through the stop signals to lower chambers of the heart. This can be brought on by not enough sleep, too much caffeine, or alcohol. If you avoid these items usually this will only happen occasionally. If more see physician. The thumb is from over use. ...Read more

Unclear: Not enough information to make a diagnosis. Left shoulder blade pain is likely to be muscular or referred from the shoulder joint or thoracic spine. I have a pace maker put in to regular my heart beat and I have some swollen and pain in my left arm above my elbow should I be concerned about it?
Yes, this might be a concern.
there might be a subtle underlying infection secondary to the pacemaker, depending how long it has been in ; or viral infection or possibly a reaction by the body to a foreign body (pacemaker)
To be on the safe side, I would check with the cardiologist today, especially if you have new palpitations, chest pain or dizziness

Left arm pain & strong or fast heart beat that come and go did echo ECG stress blood tests everything ok what can cause the pain im obese 23 y old?
Pinched nerve: Because patients having cardiac problems can have these symptoms, you should have this ruled out. But the most common cause is an irritation of a nerve in the neck by a bone spur or herniation that can cause pain or numbness that runs down the arm into the hand. An MRI can usually show the cause of the problem if it does not resolve. Thank you for the question. ...Read more

Probably fine.: Different BP in left & right arms is normal. Left is usually a bit higher that right (left arm arteries sorta closer to heart than right).
