Yes: Not uncommon to see/feel that. Go slowly and be patient. The top of the vagina has been sewed closed so the area is still somewhat raw, resulting in spotting and the act of intercourse can cause cramping. As long as no fever/chills, purulent discharge or heavy bleeding; no worsening of symptoms, then you should be OK. If you haven't had a post-op check, now would be a good time to see your GYN. ...Read more

As long as you are premenopausal, the bleeding is infrequent and slight, and you have normal, regular pap smears, then you don't necessarily have to see your doctor for it. If you are postmenopausal, have bleeding that is heavy, or if you have had abnormal paps smears in the past, you should see your doctor to rule out more serious causes of bleeding such as cervical cancer.
