Is It Normal That There Is Something Poking In Your Cervix To A Pregnant Women
Is it normal for a woman to have a dark looking clitoris and lips or is that something that is related to menopause?
Maybe: lack of estrogen can cause discoloration of the genital skin. Alternatively, the skin darkening can be caused by insulin elevations associated with insulin resistance. This is called acanthuses nigricans. If you are overweight, or have a strong family history of diabetes, you should be fully evaluated for insulin resistance with a 3 hour glucose tolerance with insulin levels. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
If a woman is pregnant with twins but one made it to the uterus and the other is tubal what would happen?
My wife is pregnant and I am concerned about superfetation occurring where a new baby is conceived but then unable to attach to the uterus wall, resulting in miscarriage. I know it is highly unlikely but is this a reasonable concern? Thank you.
Very Very Rare: To say that Superfetation is rare is a gross understatement. There have been about 10 cases documented in all of the medical literature. Nearly all Ob/Gyns go through their entire careers without seeing a case. Being struck by lightning or winning the lottery is more common than superfetation. Its not something I would worry about! Best wishes! ...Read more
Is it possible for a woman at age 47 to become pregnant and what are the possibilities that it is in the normal pregnancy range ?
Being Sexual: Yes. Of course. You are not seeing sperm, they are microscopic, but you are seeing semen probably mixed with vaginal fluids. But, that in no way means she cannot get pregnant if she is ovulating. Millions of sperm are in every ejaculate. The job of sperm is to swim to an egg and impregnate it. Some of those millions will try to do this job. If she misses her next period then testing is next. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Is it possible to get a positive pregnancy test with a low, hard cervix? Or is that no way to tell at all? When does your cervix change in pregnancy?
Yes yes and varies: It's possible to have a positive pregnancy test regardless of what the cervix feels like. The location and consistency of the cervix is no way to tell if there is a pregnancy.
