Babies: Breath faster in general but rarely over 80 breaths a minute. Some babies are noisy feeders. It depends on the type of noise and their exam that makes it normal or abnormal. IUGR : Iugr can be caused by alot of different things. The iugr can also affect different parts of your baby and their development. So, not all iugr babies are exactly alike when it comes to feeding. Some feed just fine and i would assume yours will also. You can offer solids (soft foods like fruit or rice cereal) at anywhere from 4 months to 6 months and see how your baby does. ...Read more

Is there a best time of day to feed an infant? Or is just important to establish a routine?

Timing: I encourage parents to feed their infants every 3-4 days during the day. Breastfeeding will have a different pattern at times as infants will cycle through high demand days.
