Is It Normal For Your Stomach To Hurt During The Second Trimester
How much weight can u carry in each trimester I hit my second trimester 2day and lifted 20lbs up a flight of stairs stomach hurts now did I hurt baby?
Carry: I usually tell patients that if you have to use your "butt, back or legs" to lift anything then it is too heavy. So work smarter not harder. Lifting with your arms alone should be the main goal. In no way do you hurt the baby BUT you can injure yourself which makes the aches and pains of pregnancy harder to deal with. ...Read more
I am in my second trimester n I have a sprain like pain on my right side of the abdomen continuously for 4 days. Is it normal? How to get relieved?
Round ligament.: Musculoskeletal type of pain during pregnancy is commonly due to round ligament pain. This ligament attaches the uterus to the wall of the abdomen, and as the abdomen enlarges, the ligament is stretched. This type of pain is typically located on the side and bottom of the belly, and worse with exercise. If it is very bothersome, you can take some tylenol or see your doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Hi I have had 2 second trimester losses due to ic really considering the abdominal cerlage any news on thia?
Incompetent Cervix: If you have findings consistent with incompetent cervix (painless dilation, early pregnancy losses...etc) you may benefit from a vaginal cerclage (2 types). We usually only perform abdominal cerclages on women who have failed vaginal placement or have virtually no cervix left for proper placement. It's better to place a cerlage before 15 weeks. Good luck and please discuss with your OB Doc. ...Read more

Benign cramping in 2nd trimester is constant and not cyclical. It feels like constant pressure. If you're worried at all, though, see your doctor and ask for a cervical length ultrasound to confirm cramping is benign. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
