Probably allergy: Nahsea and vomiting can be from a virus you may have picked up during less than ideal hygienic condition surrounding food and beverages consumed whike traveling. OTC meds may suffice for now but if you experience fever and diarrhea, or a rash appears, pl. consult a physician for proper diagnosis and treatment needed. ...Read more

Treatment varies: There are no cold and cough treatments for infants. All of the over the counter medications have no effect and can be harmful to your baby. First have your baby examined at his Doctor to make sure that he does not have any signs of infection. If symptoms are viral then normal saline for the nose and humidified air can be helpful. Need more info: Could be normal. Please report this to the physician who is caring for your child. Several complications can occur to a 6 yr old that can impact on the child's pulmonary status. The physician should instruct you about proper pulmonary toilet to prevent complications. You do not want gastric contents getting into the lungs. I assume the physician has prescribed medication. Could be reflux: Hiccups are common in 2 month old baby. Coughing is not normal. Let his pediatrician evaluate him for reflux and advise medications if needed.
