Baby skin: No, you probably don't want baby bottom skin!! Haha. Keep your skin clean, avoiding harsh soaps (including antibacterial soaps) and chemical irritants. Use SUNSCREEN!! If your skin is dry and irritated, use a good moisturizer regularly- no perfumes or colors. Don't scratch and pick at your skin. See your doctor for a regular check of your skin, especially for any moles, etc. that change. ...Read more

Itchy skin rashes: Persistent dry, red and itchy skin rashes are consistent with dermatitis, most commonly it is atopic dermatitis or eczema. You can try otc Hydrocortisone cream apply to the area twice a day. Keep using aquaphor. Sometimes you need an antibiotic course if it gets infected. See an allergist or dermatologist if it does not improve by those simple measures so we can look at the rashes. ...Read more

You : You can see a small fine red rash after a MMR vaccine but the rash you describe has occurred too long after receiving the vaccine. No need to fear the MMR vaccine. The rash you describe sounds like hives. The next time it happens, take a picture of it to show your pediatrician.
