My baby would be nursing for a while and almost full, if she poops after, she wants to nurse all over again, is it normal to eat that much?

Hunger ??: You will find that a baby enjoys sucking due to the pleasure sensors in her lips. Anytime you place something close, or when able to get her fingers close, she will suck. This does not mean hunger. The rapidity of this pleasure sucking is different from sucking to feed.Feed her as she wakes, change her and give her a pacifier. You can turn her into a snack feeder that feeds every hour. Not a good life. ...Read more

My baby is 4 months old and moves a lot when sleeping, is this normal and if so when will it stop?

Don't expect it: Random movement of the arms and legs in both the waking and sleeping periods are expression of a normal nervous system. The brain sends out random messages to the motor nerves to flex or extend to preserve muscle mass and tone.Without these events, the muscles would weaken like yours would if you were placed in a cast or splint. ...Read more

Is it normal for my baby to breastfeed and not have a bowel movement for days?

Is it normal for my baby to breastfeed and not have a bowel movement for days?

He is digesting all the breastmilk, and using almost all of it to maintain and grow his body (leaving very little solid material to make poop). The water in the milk is absorbed and later urinated out as pee. ...Read more

How : How long has she been on the new formula? If it has been less than 2 weeks, give it a good month to see if the baby gets used to it and her constipation improves. You may want to consider completely switching from a milk based formula to soy based formula. If she does not tolerate soy, then you need to bring this isssue up with her pediatrician. Best of luck. ...Read more

Is it normal for my baby to be drinking bathwater?

Is it normal for my baby to be drinking bathwater?

Yes: Babies don't know the difference between bath water and drinking water. Since bath water is usually not that dirty, a baby taking a couple gulps of it shouldn't run into any problems (especially since it's his own germs in his bathwater).
