My two months old baby is vomiting lot. Even when burped also some vomit is there. What can I do to prevent this ? Is this a normal thing?
My baby would be nursing for a while and almost full, if she poops after, she wants to nurse all over again, is it normal to eat that much?
Hunger ??: You will find that a baby enjoys sucking due to the pleasure sensors in her lips. Anytime you place something close, or when able to get her fingers close, she will suck. This does not mean hunger. The rapidity of this pleasure sucking is different from sucking to feed.Feed her as she wakes, change her and give her a pacifier. You can turn her into a snack feeder that feeds every hour. Not a good life. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Is it normal for a newborn baby to breathe at an irregualr rhythm and is it normal for their belly to move up and down drastically when they do?

Is it normal for my infant (4weeks old) who is breastfed to have 10-12 bowel movements a day and he cries and seems to be in serious pain?
Pain isn't normal: It is common for some breast fed babies to have a bowel movement with each feeding (sometimes, just small squirts). As long as it is soft, not hard balls, it is usually normal. But, if your baby really seems uncomfortable and cries excessively, he should be checked by his doctor. ...Read more
My baby is 4 months old and moves a lot when sleeping, is this normal and if so when will it stop?
Don't expect it: Random movement of the arms and legs in both the waking and sleeping periods are expression of a normal nervous system. The brain sends out random messages to the motor nerves to flex or extend to preserve muscle mass and tone.Without these events, the muscles would weaken like yours would if you were placed in a cast or splint. ...Read more
Depends: It depends on how far along you are. Most women feel movment first at 18-20 weeks. From there until about 30 weeks fetal movements may not be regular and you may not feel them every day. After 30 weeks, you should feel your baby move every day. If you are ever worried it is easier and safer to get checked then to stay at home wondering. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Yes: If a baby is eagerly and happily breastfeeding each day, if he has no tummy aches nor bloating, and if his poops are quite soft, then it is ok for him to poop only once every few days. He is digesting all the breastmilk, and using almost all of it to maintain and grow his body (leaving very little solid material to make poop). The water in the milk is absorbed and later urinated out as pee. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Of the 5 senses that: Allow us to explore & understand the world, what touches our lips/ mouths in a pleasurable, fulfilling way is one of the first. Yes: Babies don't know the difference between bath water and drinking water. Since bath water is usually not that dirty, a baby taking a couple gulps of it shouldn't run into any problems (especially since it's his own germs in his bathwater). A toddler could be coordinated enough to drink a larger amount of bath water, in which case his parents would be better off giving him showers instead of baths. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
