At : At age 19, there is more than a five year age difference and he is a minor. That would be considered criminal behavior. This may be your fantasy but it would likely be harmful to him if you act it out. That would be a good way to get arrested. ...Read more

My daughter 17 mo has a buckle fracture in her arm both bones and is in a splint. Is is still ok for her to use her arm? Crawl? Put any weight on it?
Usually: A buckle fracture is like a dent in a beer can.It is common in kids (bones are tubular). It is stable and the fracture won't worsen or fail to heal if some stress is placed on the bone. The splint is more for comfort than stability. The bone nerves are located on the outside surface and this buckle can hurt as bad as a real break. ...Read more
My 7 year old son broke his arm and it is in a cast. Is it safe to ride his bike? If he fell could he injure it more?
About 2 weeks: I would have him avoid activities that could lead to re-injury for about 2 weeks. By that time enough new bone will have been laid down that re-injury is unlikely. Encourage walks/hiking, non-contact activity, shooting hoops one-handed etc as alternatives to his bike for a couple of weeks. ...Read more

No, it means he's : Either been hit or spanked ( even on the hand) or he's seen physical aggression on tv. My 5 week old baby has come up in a dry bumpy rash all over his body but he is breastfeeding fine and his toilet routine is normal. How to treat it?
You should discuss: this with your infant's pediatrician. Without seeing the rash, it's impossible to advise you. Most rashes in infants are benign and will get better on their own. Atopic dermatitis / eczema can present anywhere on the body in infants. It's reassuring that your baby is feeding well with normal bowel routine, but you should have him or her seen by the pediatrician to determine what this is. :) ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Probably hygiene: 6 year olds can be very compulsive or not very good about toilet hygiene. Either way they can get a rash. Usually a lukewarm shallow bath without soap and drying well plus a simple diaper cream (zinc oxide) will suffice. However, she could have a bladder infection, so if she continues to complain, better have her checked. ...Read more
