No, it is not normal: Even for a woman actively suffering from menopause, she should not have "hot-flashes-nonstop" hot flushes are caused by imbalance of the autonomic (sympathetic vs parasympathetic systems)--when parasympathetic overriding, then sweating occurs (the flushes). Is it normal for a 14 year old singaporen girl about the height of 145 not started her mensturation yet?
Maybe, maybe not: If there are signs of puberty present (breast development) there is a chance this is normal. 1-2% of girls start at 16. Most would have an evaluation done if this has not occurred by 15. The girls short stature <<5% brings up concern for other conditions that might be important and i would seek out an evaluation of her short stature & developmental delay now rather than later. ...Read more

Not uncommon: It's not all that uncommon for periods to still be irregular 2-3 years after they start. There are other things that may come in to play here as well about your general health/living style. Are you overweight? Are you getting 8-10 hours of sleep at night? Is your iron intake adequate through what you eat or a vitamin? Are you having any other symptoms associated with your period? Talk to doctor! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
