Not having them at : 61 is pretty good. I don't like sunglasses either. I had my 1st cataract removed last week, age 73, and the other will go in 2 weeks. We know that the amount of UV you receive is the cause of usual cataracts, so wearing them in a high UV environment will definitely extend the age at which they become bothersome for you, to the point of requiring removal if you wish to watch TV or read a book. ...Read more
