If you have an endom: Endometrioma that large , and it is causing pain it needs to be removed assuming you get clearance because it can grow and in the future cuase more pain, or possibly rupture which would cause more pain and hopefully your doctor will remove it laparoscopically or with the davinci robot, you should not have to have a laparotomy, god luck. ...Read more
