Is It Common To Have Slightly Doubled Vision When The Eyes Are Wide Open
19m. What's the cause for very slight double vision even when covering both eyes individually? Is it serious
When I smile one of my eyes looks more closed than the other. Could it be due to having a slight overbite?
My eyes are completely bloodshot and a little sore. Is it normal for my eyes to be like this the first time wearing contacts?
NO: The problem may be you wore them too long for the first time, they are not fitting correctly or you have a dry eye condition that became aggravated by the lenses. Suggest you follow up with the doctor who prescribed the lenses to find the cause of your problem. The lenses should be evaluated while in your eyes to determine the correct fit. ...Read more
Left pupil slightly larger than the right but mostly under certain lights or when light hits the eyes directly any reason why this is happening?
I have a lazy eye, which is misaligned. How can I align this eye with the other eye(it is looking a bit upwards, compared to the other)?
I tend to open my eyes wide when wearing contact lenses, which causes some eye fatigue. Is this normal? Should I consciously close up my eyelids a bit as if I am wearing glasses?
It is common: to open your eyes wider while wearing contact lenses, especially while getting use to them. If your eyes are becoming fatigued while wearing contact lens, you should decrease the amount of time that you are wearing them, in order to allow your eyes to adapt. Try wearing the contacts for only 4 hours/day for a few days, if your eyes do not feel fatigued, gradually increase the number of hours/day ...Read more

Doctor can evaluate: If a newborn's eyes look unusually big, a parent can talk with the primary care doctor about it. A pediatric ophthalmologist (eye doctor) can help evaluate by examining the eyes. It appears that my 3 month old os teething. Her eyes are also watering and the eyelids are a bit puffy. Is that normal?
My eyes feel heavy/watery/itchy. I'm concerned that it may be pink eye. If it is, how long from the onset of other symptoms would my eye become pink?
Not long: While other symptoms may precede the pinking up of the eye, usually "pink eye" (conjunctivitis) usually starts with the redness and concurrently irritation and excess tearing. So if you have watering and itching and pinkness does not appear quickly, it is more likely something like allergy. If the vision is changing, or the pain is signficant, then see your ophthalmologist. ...Read more

How is my eye is being injured by my contacts? Apparent injury in one eye, which I don't feel happen leads to increased pressure usually both eyes.
One of my pupils is slightly larger than the other. No other symptoms. They constrict normally and react to light. Could it be a tumor?
What’s the difference between strabismus and lazy eye? I though they were the same things, but now i’m reading that they’re not and they can each cause the other. I’m confused!
Not the same: Strabismus means the eyes are crossed - when eyes are crossed in a young child the brain will get confused and ignore the crossed eye, leading to amblyopia or "lazy eye." other causes of a lazy eye can be a very high prescription in one eye that is asymmetric; again the brain starts to ignore the eye with the high prescription (because the image is blurred) and therefore develops amblyopia. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Is it normal to still see the suction ring on my eye 6 weeks after lasik? This is the dry eye and blurry distance vision. Feels like and eyelash is in
I am having slight double vision that occurs rarely when i don't blink in front of the pc. Barely noticeable Is that normal.
Reading and such is fine?
Induced diplopia: You're inducing your own diplopia (double vision) by staring at the PC without blinking since there is an exerted force being applied trying to keep the vision focused. That MENTAL tension translates into MUSCLE TENSION & likely causes an eye cross or similar bringing on diplopia. As I tell my kids, "STOP THAT!" & things nearly always get better.
