Is It Better To Eat More Vegetables Than Fruit
Yes, but...: If you're trying to lose weight, try to keep the fruits to a minimum at night. Especially high sugar (high glycemic) fruits like bananas, apples, oranges, pineapples, etc. I generally recommend a cup of low sugar fruits like berries or melons at night or 1-2 cups of green veggies at night.. Can you eat raw frozen and raw fresh vegetables as long as you rinse them first? I don't see the issue since we don't cook our raw fruit.
OK for most BUT...: Many people eat only raw vegetables (and raw food) for health benefits, but many nutrients in vegetables are better absorbed when cooked (esp. if boiled or steamed) while others are degraded by cooking. Cruciferous veggies have chemicals that suppress thyroid function if eaten in excess that are deactivated by cooking.
