Sounds strange: If after exercise your heart rate is 85-90 and persists for many hours after you exercise, you may be out of shape. Your resting heart rate should return to what is normal for you with a few minutes to a hour or so (but it does depend on how much and how vigorously you exercised). Sounds: Sounds like you might have had orthostatic hypotension of which the #1 cause is dehydration. What happens is that your blood pressure drops instead of increases when you change positions causing the symptoms you describe.
