Hello! So I'm just curious if I should go get it looked at. I habe a blood blister just above my belly button - where I had it pierced. (26 wks preg)?
Keep it clean !!: New piercings are usually cleaned twice a day. Do not twist jewelry / post. Saturate gauze w saline solution (pinch of sea salt in warm water), place on piercing & allow it to gently drip into the piercing. Or you can buy pressurized saline solution at a drug store. An alternate way to clean navel piercings: rapidly turn over a cup of warm saline on to the piercing. This should create a small ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
How do I get rid of a blood blister next to my tragus piercing. It doesn't hurt and isn't infected, but it just looks gross. I want it to go away.
Chronic irritation: The tragus is composed of cartilage which gets it blood supply by diffusion. It is prone to an infection, and this could be an infection without purulent material. Constant irritation could make it look like a blood blister. It would be best to remove the piercing to get the tissue to heal. Clean the site with saline, apply antibiotic ointment every eight hours, and do not pierce until healed. ...Read more

I keep getting little blood blister type things they mostly come on my stomach & legs they are only small & I'd squeezed blood comes out wot cud the b?
Cherry angiomas: Relax and ignore them. If you don't like them a dermatologist can erase them with electrodessication or laser. I prefer electrdessication as it costs nothing. I can charge just a routine office visit. I can treat several every minute. There his a mild sting and they heal in 1 or 2 weeks, depending on size. Anticoagulation makes no difference. They are collections of capillaries filled with blood. ...Read more
I keep getting a blood blister on my stomach at the site of a lap. Surgery several years ago. Concerned?
No: This is likely not a blister, but more commonly is a reaction to suture material that is directly under the skin that the body is trying to extrude. You should see your surgeon and have him/her examine the area. If it is a stitch, then it can usually be removed in the office under local anesthesia. ...Read more
