Hoarseness with a: Cold is pretty common. It means her vocal cords are irritated.The best treatments are good hydration, saline nose drops, & suctioning her nose with a bulb syringe. Use a humidifier if your pediatrician okays it. If she has a recital temperature of 100.4 or above, isn't nursing/drinking well or her symptoms worsen, take her to her doctor. Get help for pain: There are lots of reasons for abdominal discomfort, and not all of them are due to the GI tract. Even "functional" syndromes may be present without underlying "disease." if pain with meals consider peptic (acid), biliary, or pancreatic disease. Accompanying bleeding or tenderness suggests inflammation, ischemia, or infection. "really bad sharp pain" is quite concerning. See your doctor asap. ...Read more

Call your OB: You need to call your OB. If you are having any shortness of breath, you need to go to the emergency room ASAP. During pregnancy and for a couple of months afterwards, your blood clotting factors are elevated, putting you at risk for a clot.
