Is Is Possible To Get Hsv Herpes On Stomach And Back
Whatre the chances are of me giving my boyfriend genital herpes HSV 1 from saliva, and my lips not touching his genitals. My cold sore was almost gone?
Hard to say: It's impossible to say what the statistical chances are of transmitting herpes with a single encounter. If you've recently had a cold sore, of course the chances are higher. But the virus can be shed even when no sore is present. It's a discussion and risk/benefit analysis that you and bf have to have with one another and make decision that feels comfortable for you. ...Read more
There are different types of herpes infections; herpes simplex infection of mouth (gingivostomatitis) and lips (labialis) are the most common. Others include genital herpes, and herpes zoster. Herpes infection could very mild to very dangerous depending on the type and location of the body affected. I ...Read more
Unusual: Herpes simplex is usually seen on the surface of mucous membranes or surrounding tissue. It produces "cold sores" and genital lesions. What i suspect is that you may be seeing herpes zoster on the abdominal wall or back. Usually this will be confined to one side and affect only the area of skin served by one nerve root. This is the virus that causes chickenpox & reactivates to shingles later. ...Read more
Should I get hsv bloodtest if ex bf has herpes and now having swollen/full feeling in groin during periods, sore back, tingles? But no pain or outbreaks
Probably not: Herpes is not a likely cause of your bf's symptoms. Herpes rarely causes tingling, back pain, or groin symptoms without genital outbreaks: urban myth. If he has other evidence of genital herpes, such as a positive test for HSV2, and if you had sex with him more than once or twice, you should consider testing. But I would not recommend you be tested only on account of symptoms. ...Read more
Not usually: Genital herpes, HSV -2 generally remains localized to the genital area. You could get HSV -1 lesions in the mouth. Primary HSV -2 can also occur in the mouth with oral sex. It may be that the lesions are not herpes at all. It is not feasible to know the nature of the lesions without examining you. You should see a doctor. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. ...Read more
HSV 1 and 2 IgG are negative but HSV IgM I/II combination came back positive at 2.28. Do I have herpes?
Maybe: The Ig M titer is the titer that shows initial infection, with time it will change to a positive IgG. These of course are lab values. If you have symptoms then it is confirmation of HSV. HSV 1 is oral or common lip blisters. HSV2 is genital herpes. Unusual that both HSV 1 and 2 are turning positive at same time. In any event both are ubiquitous in the population. ...Read more
I had an exposure a year before , i took HSV 1 & 2 IGG and IGM AB test last week, Both came back with negative , am i free for Herpes?
Herpes results back and hsv1 came back IgG 53.60. Does that mean i have had this virus for over three months? What does hsv, i/II 1.48 high mean?
Can't tell.: The presence of IgG usually means the production of a protective (usually but not always) antibody from past exposure but can't tell you how far in the past. I don't know what hsv i/II high means however since I can't make sense out of it. The presence of IgM ab would point to a recent or current infection. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
