Probably menses: If your pregnancy tests have been negative, then delayed ovulation can result in delayed menstruation. Could be both..: Labor or contractions typically cause cramping pain, often mid to lower abdomen, for a few minutes at a time, then eases up and the cycle repeats over and over until the baby is born. Heartburn or reflux often cause more constant pain and lasts much longer. It is not unreasonable to try some tums/pepcid, but being 3 days before due date, and loss of mucus plug, chance of labor is high. Good luck. ...Read more
