Is HPV something that will kill me?

Is HPV something that will kill me?

Maybe: Hpv causes most cervical cancers, at least half of all vaginal, vulvar and anal cancers and is now shown to cause over 75% of all head and neck cancers, plus most non-melanoma type skin cancers. That adds up to 10's of thousands of deaths per year in the us alone and that is a ton of risk. Hpv is a deadly, albeit slow to cause death, virus and vaccination is a huge help. ...Read more

If you smoke cigarettes and you have hpv, will your body kill or not kill the virus on its own if you smoke?

If you smoke cigarettes and you have hpv, will your body kill or not kill the virus on its own if you smoke?

No, though...: Good imagination - similar to drinking red wine to the heart. But there has been no one word good about smoking tobacco in available literature yet - unlike red wine story; so, stop smoking to save life and live longer ; better; no such a thing. Smoking can help control hpv, but healthy lifestyle with no overindulgence ; obsession as described in http://www.Energy-ability.Blogspot.Com/ ...Read more

Can chemotherapy kill the hpv virus? If it os there on the skin?

Can chemotherapy kill the hpv virus? If it os there on the skin?

See answer: Though chemotherapy is used for advanced HPV-related cancers, I am unaware of systemic chemotherapy being used for genital or skin HPV warts as, at present, risks and costs far outweigh benefits. There are a variety of topical treatments available for visible warts. Though there is no specific cure for HPV infection, most infections resolve on their own within 2 years via your own immune system. ...Read more

Does your body eventually kill the Genital HPV Viruses? How would you know?

Yes and no: The HPV viruses are members of a viral family that tends to remain forever in the host it infects. Can HPV or genital herpes kill you?

Some, yes: Hpv is a virus that can cause certain cancers, including cervical cancer. This can certainly kill you if not caught early and treated. How long does hpv survive outside the body. What disinfectants will kill the virus on a surface. Does washing and drying your clothes kill the virus?

How long does hpv survive outside the body. What disinfectants will kill the virus on a surface. Does washing and drying your clothes kill the virus?

Doesn't matter: You're asking the wrong question. It doesn't matter whether HPV survives away from the body, on clothing, on a surface, etc. Contact with these things never transmits the virus. Without sex or other direct skin-skin contact with an infected person, nobody ever gets HPV. So no need to worry about it. ...Read more

Can the hpv virus on skin killed by radiation? As radiation also can kill cancer cells? Possible or not?

Maybe/but why ?: HPV warts are relatively easy to eradicate by freezing, laser and or application of various chemicals. Why would anyone take the risks involved with radiation when less risky treatments are available ? Most infestations by HPV strains are removed by the immune system within 2-3 years. However, they can hide in your tissues and resurface on and off for years.Complete cure is not likely. ...Read more

I read handsoap isnt enough to kill HPV. If so, how can I prevent HPV from genital wart from spreading to other body parts if accidentally touched?

Tissue specific: These germs tend to grow only in certain locations. The HPV genital wart strain likes the skin of your genital/anal region. According to last questions,i mean applying Photodynamic therapy on penis and stretch it with moving both sides to kill HPV every 2 seconds for 20 min?

No ino available: Photodynamic therapy has been employed in the past to treat superficial malignancies. Applying it for superficial viral infections is feasible. Whether it will work on the penis is conjecture. A nonsurgical photodynamic therapy (PDT) procedure is being developed to destroy tissue infected by human papilloma virus (HPV) and treat precancerous lesions without damaging healthy tissue. This is first being tested in cervical lesions with HPV. A device to employ this technology is called Cevira, using advanced LED technology in a self-powered, disposable device. It initiates a photochemical reaction in exposed tissue to destroy the virus ...Read more
