HPV vaccine: There is actually a vaccine for HPV -human papilloma virus. Even though you are 28, you might be a good candidate for that — given your husband's infection. I would CERTAINLY talk to your doctor about possibly getting the vaccine and taking other steps to reduce your risk. ...Read more

Easy does it: I'm glad you're taking a proactive approach to your daughter's health. There are dozens of different strains of hpv, everybody carries at least a few of them, only a few able to produce cancer, and I've never heard of anybody dying of nuisance-diseases like heck's. If it doesn't self-cure, and it bothers her, it may be treated like other warts. ...Read more

Combination of thing: A few thoughts- although you may not have had anything obvious on ENT exam you may still have subclinical gerd, post nasal drip, allergy or even irritant. I would review your hx to see if there is anything we are missing — try trials of appropriate meds including standard anti gerd, anti drip and anti allergy. At the end of the day this might be a combo of things. ...Read more
Yesterday, i had protected sex with a sex worker. however, I could see some blister near her private parts. Should I get pep for hpv or other diseases. And for bacterial & yeast can I take azithromycin 1mg + metronidazole 2 g?
Probably not: For specific advise consult your physician. Use of a condom would make it less likely to have contracted HSV. Same for gonorrhea, HIV and Trichomonas. No treatment indicated for Candida(yeast) or Bacterial Vaginosis as male contacts don't need Rx. Only visit sex workers certified STD free ...Read more
