Very likely: I've known of people with celiac disease who had difficulty losing weight. When they stopped consuming gluten, they lost weight, stopped feeling bloated, and more energetic as you have noticed. Celiac: I would recommend what i call the neo paleo diet. It contains most of the original ideas of the paleo diet which consists of no gluten or dairy. It also says you should eat no processed foods and to eat as organic and locally grown as possible. It allows for nuts and seeds. There's no 100%: The labs are probably not totally sensitive / specific but they're pretty good. Have you had a biopsy? This is one to work out with your physician.
