Which supplement is more important bcaa's or glutamine?

Which supplement is more important bcaa's or glutamine?

You flunked the quiz: If you're a healthy young person you get all the BCAAs you need from diet. Glutamine isn't an essential AA. You make all the glutamine you need from glutamate which is made from alanine or aspartic acid. If you consume glutamine you just synthesize less. Excess AAs are burned as fuel & excreted as waste. So there you'll stand with your fly open literally watching your money go down the toilet. ...Read more

How effective is taking L-glutamine as a supplement for bodybuilding? Does it work? How much should one take if you think it works?

Not very: Glutamine is in everything you eat that's got protein. Your best supplement for bulk is creatine. The other thing that works is an electronic muscule stimulator unit if your physician is okay with it. Stay away from steroids; every guy i know who tried them was sorry. Glad you're lifting. ...Read more

I am taking l tyrosine and l glutamine supplement want to know is it safe?

Forget this garbage.: Unless advised to take extra amino acids by a professional doctor, for a genetic lack of them or for a proven deficiency, save your money & lower risk from chronic use. These are 2 amino acids, present in most protein. The last thing anybody in the US needs is any more protein! If you get adequate protein from food which happens, unless you are starving, extra protein only increases your risk. ...Read more

Should I take creatine, whey and glutamine supplements as I just began weight training last month?

No: Such supplements are not studied enough by researchers because these supplements are not FDA-approved drugs for treating particular disorders. My A1c is 5.2, I'm doing bodybuilding. Is glutamine supplement will elevate my blood sugar levels.

Nominally No-But Why: would you want to? Glutamine is one of the 20 amino acids from which all proteins are constructed. By taking you are ?ing intake of 1 (in an expensive way) of the 20 AA's (assuming label honest; no requirement to be per the 1994 DSHEA Act). Life is about complex balances; marketing about selling cheap stuff from nature to naive customers; buyer beware as always. Study my answers & DietDoctor.com ...Read more
