Unfortunately, no: Lennox-gastaut syndrome can cause intractable seizures and disrupt cognitive development. It is a very difficult seizure disorder to treat. Medication, ketogenic diet, vagal nerve stimulator, and surgical procedures to attenuate the seizures are treatments available.
