Is Eating Too Many Cucumbers Bad For You
Is taking cucumber bad while one is suffering from kidney disease. I mean renel tubular ascidoses.
OK: Renal tubular acidosis (RTA) happens when there is impaired reabsorption of bicarbonate and/or impaired acidification by the kidneys. One way to treat RTA is to give alkaline substances (sodium bicarbonate). Cucumbers are considered high alkaline forming foods and should be ok to consume if you have rta.

Does a lemon mint cucumber detox drink only drinking it once a month and not eating really make you healthier and have a faster metabolism?
No, of course not: That adds some flavoring to the water, but has similar effects to just drinking plain water.
You decide: Like all living things, cucumber seeds contain a huge number of substances some of which do things to cells in tissue cultures and so forth. And like everything else it has some vitamins and minerals in it. I would caution you against using this or any other supplement for a specific purpose, especially if you are actually sick. It's your money.
Healthy foods: Cucumbers are one of many vegetables that are part of complete & nutritious dietary plan. It's up to you whether you eat them raw or cooked. You don't have to eat them daily but it's always a good idea to make fruits & vegetables a major portion of your caloric intake. There's plenty of good evidence demonstrating benefit of vegetarian, Mediterranean & DASH diets in long-term health.
From eating: CUCUMBERS Maybe a few pounds (Cucumbers are "natural diuretics" but that kind of weight loss is quickly regained!! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
Safe: But unnecessary. There is no buildup of toxins that is cured with a special diet. Kidney and liver don't get behind in their duties.
My husband took a bite of cucumber and then gave the same piece to our 1 year old son. I worry how ok is that?
That's fine: You don't hesitate to mouth-kiss your husband, I hope. Families share common bacteria and Junior has nothing to worry about. I trust he does not have an active fever blister. I'd actually be surprised if even oral gonorrhea could be transmitted in this way, and I trust this is not an issue here. There's no reason for "condom consciousness" in the ordinary, wonderful intimacies of being a family.
No, it is fine: Depending on the health of your gastrointestinal organs, it might give you a bit of heartburn or acid reflux - but if you've a healthy strong stomach, it sounds fine - even refreshing! Anxiety would not be caused by either ingredient. But, if you don't like the after effects - don't drink it. Find other Vitamin C sources. Don't worry - you did not do any harm to yourself.See 1 more doctor answer
