Eggs are among the most nutrient-rich foods, containing all essential amino acids, all B vits., Vit A & D, trace minerals including selenium, iodine and molybdenum and Omega 3 fatty acids.

Yes: This is a very controversial question. I believe it is not a problem, an egg is an excellent source of protein and calcium, the yolk-large cholesterol content. However this cholesterol doesn't translate in the body to the 'bad' cholesterol. Very important is check your entire lipid panel on a doc checkup.
