I am drinking Berkley & Jensen sparkling water cranberry raspberry flavor. I read in the ingredient that it has Sucralose. Is this good for you?
Artificial Sweetner: Look up Sucralose, eg. Http://en. Wikipedia. Org/wiki/Sucralose. Since sugars (carbohydrates) are the primary driver of obesity, Diabetes Mellitus, atherosclerosis & cancer, this is likely a better alternative to real sugars. I stopped drink soda and started drinking flavored water, but the flavored water is carbonated water! Is carbonated water bad for you?
Is it ok to drink flavored water or do I have to drink plain water? I'm not a big water drinker unless its flavored.
Yes, it's ok: There is no evidence of harm in any of the flavorings used - they are food colorings and occasionally things like spearmint or peppermint, and they have been around a long time without known harm. That being said, they are more expensive and there is no evidence that they do any good. Some flavored waters also have vitamins, which most people really don't need if they are on a healthy diet. ...Read more

Gave up diet soda a year ago. I drink 2-3 liters of water daily plus 2 Vitamin Water Zero daily with lunch one & dinner for flavor. Safe choice?
I think this sounds: Pretty good. Vitamin Water Zero passes a lot of nutritional tests: it is calorie free, has no artificial sweeteners (sweetened with Trulia and fructose) and no artificial dyes. You are getting 200% of the vitamin C recommended daily value (100% in each 8 oz), but close to 100% of a handful of B vitamins and a boost for a few more. Total fluid intake: about 84 to 118 oz daily. Generous but ok:) ...Read more
Does drinking water with an added flavor enhancer w/ caffeine, like mio energy, defeat the purpose of drinking water?
Drink all you can!: I say yes. You need to stay well hydrated after wisdom teeth come out. As long as it doesn't hurt when you drink it, and as long as you keep doing the salt water rinses on a regular basis (as well as follow all the other post op instructions) you will be fine to drink almost anything. Just avoid alcohol and acidic juices. ...Read more
Every time I drinking plain water cold or not I get sore throat. I'm not sick and if I add flavoring it don't hurt just with plain water it does.
You have the answer:
You may add non-caloric flavoring. Try some fruit flavoring, eg. With slices of lemon, orange, strawberries etc, rather than chemical flavoring.
