Hello, good morning, I was diagnosed with malaria and while most of the symptoms are gone, the diarrhea is still going strong. I can't seem to keep anything down. There has been a lot of vomiting and stooling. I really don't know what to do. there's also
More than malaria: It sounds like there could be more than one problem here. GI symptoms like you describe could be due to other diseases that co-occur in malaria endemic areas. I would recommend getting additional lab tests ASAP since it sounds like you're quite debilitated from all this. You run the risk of severe dehydration and resultant complications. Could be: Sometimes people who choose to purge do so because of sx(bloating ) related to food intolerance. Gluten sensitivity may be evident. The diuarrhea may be evidence of that.
