Is Cytotec Detectable By Normal Urine Test
What possible diagnosis for the ff urine test report: sg 1.035 pH 8.0 blood trace protein 100mg/dl l.Est moderate nitride pos. And bacteria of 50-250?
Misoporstol (Cytotec) is a labor inducer is a kind of women's health and pregnancy drug. Misoprostol is a medication that causes the uterus to contract. This can be used to induce labor. It is also used to help a miscarriage pass more quickly. It is either taken by mouth or as tablets placed into the vagina. Misoprostol causes significant cramping and, if it is used to pass a miscarriage, causes vaginal bleeding. This is a normal ...Read more

Hi there, can mifepristone and misoprostol be detected in a urine sample taken to check for a UTI?
Maybe if they look: The usual urine testing for a UTI consists of examining a concentrated amount for germs or pus, and a strip lined with disclosure chemicals to detect protein, sugar, ketones, and other factors common to urinary issues. A sample is also sent to see if germs will grow in the lab. It does not look for the drugs listed, or any other drug, unless specifically ordered by the doc. ...Read more
Can a doctor know if you have a medical abortion? Does it look like a miscarriage? Is Mifeprex and Misoprostol detected in urine or blood 2 days later
Puzzling question: Why would they look or care? Spontaneous miscarriages occur before and after a conception occurs. I know of no test any doc would use to detect abortion drugs in the urine or blood or why they would want to. Docs try to help solve problems. CSI investigators on TV have lots of tests to look for crimes. To suggest a doc would want to is odd. ...Read more
I am 21 female. Urine test shows specific gravity- 1010 & Epithelial cells- 3-5/hpf. Is this normal?
Normal: Your urine is fairly dilute with a SG of 1.010. Epthelial cells are quite normal in a female. These came from your vagina. There would likely be less or no epithelial cells if your labia were widely separated & you caught a mid-stream specimen. No RBCS, WBCs or bacteria is excellent. Good Luck, no cause for any concern ...Read more
I am a male aged 22 years Urine test reports show that the pus cells are 3-4 hpf and epithelial cells are 0-2 hpf. Is this normal?
3-4-0-2 HIKE!!!: If you don't have any symptoms I wouldn't worry. If you have symptoms, like PWP (Pain While Pissing) I'd need to know a little more about you. There could be lots of reasons to get your urine tested and you didn't say why. Something leaking out? Stain your underwear? Feeling sick (nausea, dizzy, etc)? Fever? Pain elsewhere? Peeing more or less than usual? But just 3-4 per hpf is not too impressive. ...Read more

I had a urine test done & everything was normal. What are some of the things that a urine test can determine? Can it determine if you have any cancers
Limited use: Urinalysis picks up a very limited number of things, many of which are of considerable importance, but it's no screen for general health. A kidney or bladder cancer or stone can produce blood in the urine; an infection can introduce white cells. Some crystals may warn of stones. ...Read more
Random urine test last week with protein 100mg. Today follow up urine was negative for protein, all normal. How can it can go up and then be negative?
1% of folks: One percent of humankind has a small amount of blood in the urine as a result of the glomerular basement membrane being thin in some places. If kidney function & imaging are good, stop working it up. Many such folks have slightly diminished hearing, especially when it's a gene at the alport locus, but it almost never causes real problems. ...Read more
Urine test = sp gravity = 1.005 low, pH = 8 high. What does that mean? Other all values r normal or nil.
Electrolyte, acid: Sp gr means the concentration of urine. When the flud intake is adequate, sp gr can be low as 1.005.If the fluid intake is less, the sp gr can be high as1.030. Ph depends on amount of acids excreted by the kidney. Both these measures reflect the electrolyte and acid handling by the kidney. ...Read more
Urine test showed Specific Gravity 1.010 and the normal was 1.011. Other results normal. What does that mean?
TheGravityofYour...: A specific gravity of 1.010 is very close to the fluids in your blood vessels (not the blood cells). So in the urine, that means the kidneys aren't working to save any fluid (mostly water). This could be a normal response to drinking a lot of fluids or a sign that the kidneys aren't doing their job. Depends on what else is going on with you. If you feel healthy then it's probably nothing to worry about ...Read more

That could be normal: Seeing some calcium oxalate crystals in the urine under microscopic exam is nothing usual and common, and carries no clinical significance for most although calcium oxalate - monhydrate or dihydrate - is known to be the most common composition of urinary stone. So, such finding is usually okay and should be correlated with individual clinical scenario for interpretation. ...Read more

Lower abdo pain on and off for a week. Sometimes having urine frequency. Had urine test that came back negative. Bowels normal. Ovulation?
See answer: Intermittent lower abdominal pain for a week is lasting longer than one would expect if ovulation (24-48 hrs) was the cause. Cause of lower abd. Pain is usually urological, gyne, or bowel-related. No UTI and no bowel symptoms would suggest that gyne evaluation may be best place to start evaluation if symptoms persist. Pelvic ultrasound or ct scan may be indicated. ...Read more
