No: Creatine when taken appropriately can help with muscle recovery. It will cause water retention and the biggest risk of taking this is muscle cramping from insufficient hydration. If you are taking this as a supplement you need to make sure you are staying adequately hydrated. Creatine is widely used by many young men who are trying to build muscle but most don't realize it has many potential hazards. Side effects can include ischemic stroke, high blood pressure, agitation, elevated liver enzymes & kidney inflammation, though it's not clear how common these are & most people have few if any side effects increase with high doses.

No: Excessive of creatinine use and muscle mass will create a chronic dehydrated state unless you drink plenty of water with it. It will also put an extra burden on your kidney. It has no effect on prostate gland but concentrated urine may mimics prostatitis symptoms. If you decide to take it, drink plenty of water (>3 liter/d), check kidney function and CPK periodically. It depends, acute?: If chronic, long-standing problem, it will not be correctable. But if acute i.e. New problem due to a dehydration or medication or bladder retention, it may be correctable.
