What can you take for gas/bloating/upset stomach that doesn't have a lot of sodium like an antacid (alka seltzer etc) for those w/ kidney disease?
Is frozen purple grape juice, apple juice and peppermint tea ok to drink for ulcer. Ipeppermint tea seems to calm tummy but some say bad for ulcer?
Probably OK: I see no problem with grape and apple juice, though i strongly recommend organic juices as both conventional grapes and apples are high in pesticides. The only reference i found re: ulcers says it should not be used in stomach ulcers because it lowers esophageal sphincter pressure, but i don't see why that would be bad for an ulcer.
