I don't think so: Some physicians believe that fish oils are helpful for inflammation and/or blood lipid problems. I have no reason to believe that this will specifically help hepatitis b though it could help the joint disease. The obviously-false internet claim that it "cures hepatitis b" is sucker bait; if it did, some of the nih piranhas would have made their reputations by proving it. ...Read more

Can I take 7 seas pure cod liver oil which states the relief of pains/stiffness (dont have) but also good for hair/skin which I'm taking it for?
Cod liver oil: Although there's good evidence for cod liver oil decreasing triglyceride levels and possible evidence for some improvement in blood pressure and kidney disease in diabetics, there is no good evidence for an effect on the joints, skin, or hair. Also, it contains very high levels of vitamin D and vitamin K, and could result in overdosage of those vitamins. I would not recommend taking it daily. ...Read more

You probably want no more than 2500 iu of preformed vitamin a/day. It is fat soluble and the excess is stored in your liver. Cod liver oil also contains high amounts of dha and epa -- long chain omega-2 fats. ...Read more

Krill oil and cod liver oil are both excellent sources of essential Omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. The main thing krill oil has that cod liver oil does not is Astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant with many proven benefits (see http://products. Mercola. Com/astaxanthin/).

Both krill and cod liver oil are excellent sources of essential fatty acids EPA and DHA. Cod Liver Oil also contains Vitamins A and D. Krill oil may be more readily absorbed and is an excellent source of astaxanthin.
It is safe to take these together. One would have to take very large amounts for either or both to be hazardous.
