Is Chronic Diarrhea A Sign Of Ovarian Cancer
Im 18 & been having brown discharge after diarrhea for 4 days. Also have been gassy. Could this be IBS or signs of ovarian cancer?
Not likely: Certainly not compatible with ovarian ca. Possibly ibs but would need to review symptoms much more comprehensively. Ibs has to start somewhere, but 4 days of diarrhea by itself is inadequate for diagnosis. Much more likely to be normal variation, something you are eating, or mild intestinal infection. Brown d/c is a little more concerning. If it persists after diarrhea is gone get it checked. ...Read more

Can severe pain in my lower right abdomen with cramping &bloody diarrhea be ovarian cancer? Had all gastro tests, all negative.
Abdominal Pain: I still bet on a digestive disorder, such as diverticulitis, an infectious agent, causing a type of dysentery, or a type of inflammatory bowel disease. Ovarian cancer would be very unlikely to present that way, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to have your gynecologist perform a thorough abdomino-pelvic exam. Sometimes amebic dysentery, salmonella, or a shigella are hard to pick up. ...Read more

Bloating, loose stools/constipation & nausea come &go (days w/no symptoms, then multiple days w/symptoms) Ovarian Cancer?Do symptoms come/go? Paranoid
Cancer unlikely: It is unlikely that your symptoms are due to ovarian cancer. Irritable bowel is more likely. What part gone?: Removing the right colon and valve that separates the small bowel from colon sets the stage for bacterial contamination of the small bowel, which leads to diarrhea commonly-can be treated, with good success.
