No, not same: The potent antioxidant called GCG in most green teas is sensitive to heat and fermentation. Thus black tea, albeit w other possible health benefits, is largely depleted of GCG. But some green teas are quickly roasted (ex few regions in China) and have less GCG. Most others dry the leaves without heat.
