Different but the: Same - almost! Both are sources of fiber. Benefiber comes from wheat dextrin, while Metamucil comes from psyllium seed. One is not necessarily better than the other, you just have to see which one your body better tolerates. Benefiber may be: Easier to take. The powder in a can format is easier and cheaper than capsules and you'll get a larger dose which which will help make you regular.
