When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Only if needed: Lidocaine has been assigned to pregnancy category b by the fda. Animal studies have failed to reveal evidence of fetal harm. It is widely used for procedures during pregnancy but it does cross the placemta and enter the fetal bloodstream. Lidocaine should only be given during pregnancy when needed. Small amounts are probably ok. Ask your OB doc.See 1 more doctor answer
I'm 36 weeks pregnancy can I use icy hot pain relieving cream on my lower back and under my stomach?
Being Pregnant: You failed to ask a question. But, your statement is a good definition of the last month of pregnancy.
I am 30 week pregnant. After 9 days of home remedies my sinuses still bother me. Is it safe to take azithromycin??? How safe is it?
Yes, it is safe.: It is a pregnancy category B drug, which means it is safe to use in pregnancy.

Yes: Azithromycin is commonly used, even during pregnancy, for sinusitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, as well as other indications, and is the drug of choice for chlamydia. Because of it's once daily dosing, patient compliance is much better. Another benefit is that vaginal yeast infections are far less common after a z-pack than after a course of a penicillin or a cephalosporin.See 1 more doctor answer
I am 11 weeks pregnant. Is it safe to take zithromax z pack 5oomg? I am really concerned. Will it cause any damage to the unborn child?
Azithromycin is a...: Category b drug which means there are no controlled studies studying its use during pregnancy. It does, however, appear to be safe but should be used only when the benefit outweighs the risk.
Urgent: is zithromax safe during pregnancy for bronchitis?!? 25 weeks pregnant. No complications thus far... And how much is safe for bronchitis?
26 wks pregnant with sinus & vaginal yeast infection. Dr prescribed both Diflucan (fluconazole) (1 dose) & Zithromax. R they safe taken together? I read they're not
Ask the DR: Zithromax is probably safe during pregnancy. But it is a common cause for yeast problems. Unless you have both high fever and significant sinus pain, it will do nothing for sinus congestion. Drainage, with sniffer or oral med, is the way to relieve sinus symptoms. Antibiotics are seldom of use. Meclizine is another med which is commonly used but seldom effective. Phenergan (promethazine) will make you sleepy so
I'm 36 weeks pregnant and got diagnosed with chlamydia. My doc prescribed me azithromycin and told me to take both pills at the same time one does. Also to get my husband treated which we did. Never got him tested just treated. I took the pills on a Thurs
Incomplete question!: Your question got cut off. Ask again, and remember we cannot see your previous question and you have a 150 character limit: be brief and concise. You got the proper treatment. If after 3 -4 weeks you still have any symptoms you should get checked again, but not sooner than 3 weeks. See http://www. Cdc. Gov/std/tg2015/chlamydia. Htm If this does not answer your question, ask again.
I took azithromycin an hour and a half ago and vomited. Will I need another dose? I am 16 weeks pregnant.
No need to re-treat: You don't say what you were treated for, but I'm guessing chlamydia, right? If so, the treatment should work fine. If vomiting occurs more than 30 minutes after taking azithromycin, usually enough is absorbed to cure chlamydia. But check with your doctor; it will be important to be tested in a few weeks to make sure you were cured. Best wishes for a successful pregnancy!
Yes: Hi Beverly, I am not sure exactly what you are asking. It is safe to take azithromycin while pregnant. At any rate, it would be out of your system in one week. Any antibiotic can interfere with the effectiveness of birth control pills, I recommend using a barrier method like a condom to prevent pregnancy while taking antibiotics.
Is it okay to take azithromycin and amipicillin while pregnant? Doctor said its okay but still nervous to take it
Yes: Both are safe for use. If you have an infection then treatment it is important
