Yes-- but: It is still functional-- but if it is that old, it sounds like you are no longer under a doctor's care. It is never a good idea to take medicine unless your doctor knows about it. You might have been placed on new medicines that interact with it, or, at the very least, you need to have someone to call if you have side effects. ...Read more

Thrombocytopenia 4 mths ago after taking several doses of bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim). Thrown in remission after 3 days decadron. Plt. In 200s n holding. Pregnancy safe?
Check: with your doctor. It is also concerning me that you have not listed bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) or sulfa as an allergy. The thrombocytopenia is probably drug related and should never take it again. Check with your hematologist for advice in this regard prior to getting pregnant. Best wishes. ...Read more

I m taking 3 tablet letrozole 2.5 mg (called 'zoleta') daily. 1 is morning another 2 is night. from days 3 and i have to take up days 7. is it ok?
No, it's not OK.: I'm not sure why you are taking letrozole. This is a drug that is approved only for the treatment of breast cancer, and the dose is 2.5mg one time daily. Your profile does not show that you have breast cancer, and the dose you are taking is 3x higher than the recommended dose. If you're a guy, I suspect you're taking it for body building, and that's a bad idea. ...Read more

Nothing to worry...: O.2 - 0.3 ng/ml reading is not clinically significant in a healthy man. But, if that is on the course of follow-up after definitive rx for prostate cancer, that may raise an eyebrow to watch possible so-called rising psa after treating prostate cancer for next 1 year to see if a trend of rising psa is established.
