Not particularly: At that age I occasionally find this on a normal physical exam.It is easier if they are on the thin side, which is where a 4 yo should be.When they are chunky it is hard to feel any normal anatomy. ...Read more

Palpable spleen: If your child's immunizations are up to date, this is most likely not splenomegaly. Children are typically thin, so their organs may be more easily palpated (felt). However, if immunizations are not up to date, palpating this area is painful, or in the face of other symptoms (fever, fatigue,etc), it may be worthwhile to have the child seen by Pediatrician. ...Read more

Depends: It depends on the problem you're having. Enlarged spleen is a consequence of the problem you're having, so without identifying it, it would be hard to suggest anything. Ginger is not curative. It may sooth upset stomach, but won't do anything for the liver or spleen. ...Read more
