Is A Long Period A Sign Of Pregnancy
My cycle is longer than usual, ovulated on day 22, 35 day cycle. What could be the reason for this? Is a late period a sign of pregnancy?
Question?: What was the length of your prior period? Why do you think you ovulated on the 22 day? If you did ovulate on the 22 day menses usually would occur 14-16 days later.
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
No: A missed period and a positive pregnancy test is the gold standard for knowing that you're pregnant. While women can be pregnant and have some irregular bleeding around the time of the menses, it typically isn't period bleeding (lighter). At 47 if you're period is lasting 2 weeks see an ob/gyn to evalute for possible fibroid, polyp, hormone changes or pre-cancer of uterus. Hopefully just hormon.See 1 more doctor answer
I have pains like these I get when I expect my period but they last longer than usual. Last intercourse was 14 days earlier. Is this sign of pregnancy?
Early pregnancy: Pain in any form is not a sign of early pregnancy.
Could a five day long, irregular, on time period be a sign of pregnancy? No vaginal intercourse. Only possibly pre-ejac contact with clit.
Not in this case: If still worried, can test. A urine pregnancy test done correctly gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon. If a woman has her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed.

Who long is it before you can get signs of pregancy I had a one day period and have felt sick ever since I had sex on the 16th & the 28th?
Take a test: Don't guess. Take a test. In today's world you do not need to wonder if you are pregnant or not based on symptoms. Pregnancy tests are available at any pharmacy and in minutes you will have your answer. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.
What are early signs of pregency? How long should, I wait until I take a home pregency test? Early signs of pregency. How long should a person wait until to get a pregency test? No, period in two months, since the 12th of november. And I have normal perio
There's: There's no way to know whether you are pregnant or not without a test, though many women will experience fatigue, breast swelling and tenderness, headaches, nausea/morning sickness, and/or frequent urination. You can either take a home pregnancy test as long as it has been 5- 6 weeks since your last normal period, or you can go see your doctor and they can test you. A home pregnancy test is 97% accurate if taken a week or more after the missed period. A blood test can tell if you are pregnant as soon as 7 days after conception and a doctor's urine pregnancy test can tell if you are pregnant around when you next period should come. There are other reasons besides pregnancy that can cause a woman to miss a period such as: stress, diet, excessive exercise or a hormone imbalance such as with a thyroid disorder or poly cystic ovarian syndrome. If you continue to not have your period or if they become irregular, you should contact your doctor.
This might be: Implantation. Take a pregnancy test to determine if you are pregnant - can be taken when you miss your period.
No: Pregnancy does not make you have a period which is early but otherwise normal. You can have spotting/bleeding at the time of ovulation (midcycle) or at implantation but this is not a normal period. If in doubt, check a pregnancy test and, to be sure, repeat it in 3-5 days if it is negative. Hope this helps.
No: There is no way to know if you are pregnant at day 19. If you are pregnant this cycle, it is likely the embryo won't have even implanted yet, so it would be unusual to have symptoms.
No: It may be normal.Get a more detailed answer ›
Not at all: No that is not a sign but you can always take a home pregnancy test.
Maybe: If you are asking if you had a small bit of brown spotting and then your period is missing - that could be consistent with pregnancy. Since your period is late - take a home pregnancy test to find out.
Is frequent urination two weeks after possible conception and two weeks before period, a sign of pregnancy?
Could having no mucus, during the time of your expected period a sign of pregnancy? Having a low tight cervix, usual before period or a sign of preg.?
No: Tight cervix? How could you tell? Do you mean dry vagina? Vagina can be dry the week before period. Either way, if worried, do a pregnancy test if period is late or if it doesn‘t come at all.
Not usually but when: In doubt take a home pregnancy test.
