Body image issues: She is too young for such worries. .. Are there other family issues going on? Parental conflict? A parent with similar issues? Colds: You can trial any OTC tussin DM product you like to see if they will help his symptoms - it is really variable on how much they help. You can also use warm fluids with honey to help soothe his cough. Cough is a protective function so suppressing it aggressively is counter-productive. 195 lbs is too big: For anybody 5' 6", being 195 lbs is much too big. The solution is to stop eating more food (calories) than is needed to live. That usually means eating small amounts at set meal times and set snack times, avoiding sugars and simple starches, and avoiding sugary drinks like sodas or juices. It could be: Muscle strength of a teenager (including a 11 year old) varies tremendously, and weight lift training or other training to build muscle also makes huge differnece in how much one can lift comfortably.
