Is 7500 mcg to much biotin to tske everyday?

Is 7500 mcg to much biotin to tske everyday?

Probably: Did you know that biotin is a "B complex vitamin" but it is also known as Vitamin H? Confusing I know, but beside the point. The adequate adult dose of biotin is 30 mcg per day, but up to 2500mcg per day for hair/nail health. I wouldn't recommend more than that. Too much biotin will cause slower release of insulin, skin rashes, lower vitamin C and B6 levels and high blood sugar levels.

How much biotin of mcg for an adult to take a day?

How much biotin of mcg for an adult to take a day?

It depends: The recommended daily intake for biotin is 30 mcg but most people don't need to take any as it is fairly easy to get that amount via your diet. However. Some people benefit from larger amounts for conditions such as diabetes and brittle nails. Doses up to 16, 000 mcg/day have been used to treat diabetes and have been found to be safe. See http://lpi. Sounds like a lot: Adequate intake of biotin is 25-30 mcg for adolescent and 35 mcg for an adult daily. So 10, 000 mcg sounds like a very large amount.

I am taking Biotin 7500mcg for a month now and I feel I am getting fatter. Is this common? Or is it me that eating to much?

Not Biotin: This is just a supplement and should not cause weight gain. Diet, fiber, small frequent feedings, mixed burst interval high and low impact aerobics, walking, biking jogging, free weights, a good daily multivitamin.-Good luck

I'm 19 and I take 10, 000 mcgs of biotin daily. I only have noticed a difference taking this dosage but is it too much for me?

Biotin: Please start taking it once a week and gradually take it every other day. If you are tolerating this you don't need it more often. If not, feel free to take it daily. I strongly suspect you won't need it every day.
