Usually Lexapro (escitalopram) is NOT the first medicine that comes to mind that increases PVCs and it could be very good to control anxiety that worsens PVCs. Give it a longer try.

4-6 weks: Usually it takes about 4-6 wks for antidepressant to exert full effect. Some may few imptovement in about 2 wks but often takes longer to maximally benefit from it. Lexapro (escitalopram) was found: To be associated with QT prolongation at higher doses. Although it is unlikely to be an issue at 5mg it seems unwise to take a chance if you have other QT issues in your family or history. There are other antidepressants that could be used that do not have associated QT interval prolongation issues.
